The Nelons - Sept. 16th

The Nelons at Bailey Park in Camp Point, IL

Update 9/16/23

We are super excited about today’s concert at Bailey park with the Nelons and the opening group Unafraid!  This is a rain or shine event and there is the one large shelter house with the stage that can house up to several hundred people.  There is another large shelter house where the food is served and there will be picnic tables there for people to enjoy their food undercover if they wish.  Concert goers who arrive early for concessions will have their choice of pie for dessert.  The concessions start at 4:00 with the pre-show with Unafraid starting at 5:30 and the Nelons will go on at 6:00.  A golf cart will be available.

Hopefully the rain will stay away, but we will have a great time either way.  God powerful message is great rain or shine!   I think this song “Grab your Umbrella” from our friends the Talleys is very appropriate for today. Check it out at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KHSjtG0lbiA

Hope to see you there!!

Bailey park is a very nice park in Camp Point which is used for many events. Camp Point holds their 4th of July celebration there with a firework display that draws a large crowd. It has two nice shelter houses that are near each other, one will be used for serving food and the other has a large covered stage where the concert will take place. Both of these are surrounded by various sidewalks and nice level grass. We plan to have a handicap parking area available.
